A Personal Insurance Update
According to the National Safety Council, injuries from auto accidents almost triple during the summer months. We offer a wide range of personal insurance products that can protect you and your family this summer.
Fireworks. Injuries from fireworks are the leading cause of injury in July. Make sure you have the right kind of homeowners or renter’s insurance that can protect your home and your legal liability if your fireworks start a fire.
Vacation Illness. Will your health insurance cover you in a foreign country? Most likely, it does not. We can offer travel insurance to help offset medical costs if you are injured or become ill while on a cruise or in a foreign country. Many of the travel insurance programs include coverage for medical treatment, medical travel expenses, and cancelation penalties from airlines and hotels. It would pay to have us prepare a written quote for you to consider.
Grilling Accidents. If you set your home on fire as a result of your grill, your homeowner's insurance most likely will cover your loss. However, always take care while grilling.
Swimming Pools. Owning an aboveground or belowground pool can create risk. Make sure your personal insurance policy provides coverage.
Boating Accidents. Boats and other watercraft are not covered (subject to policy terms) under your home or auto policy. You need separate coverage, and we can help you find the right coverage for your watercraft.
Recreational Vehicles. If you own an RV, you are most likely planning a summer trip. Your RV will need a separate policy, which we can provide.
